The Soldier’s Monument is a major focal point in the cemetery and is a tribute to the many veterans who have made the cemetery their final resting place. The monument was a generous gift from John Greene, a Civil War veteran, who is also buried here in the cemetery.
As a symbol of honor to those Orange County men and women who have bravely served our nation in war time and in peace, the Soldier’s Monument has continually served as the centerpiece of many community memorial services held throughout the years.
Please click the appropriate war to see the names of the soldiers who served. Clicking their name will take you to their Find a Grave listing in our cemetery. Note that some individuals served in multiple wars. We have made every effort to identify correct rank and service for each service member. If you have a service member buried in the cemetery that has not been identified for service, please let us know. We would gladly add them to our Wall of Honor.
